• Assisted SSC in reviewing a draft contract between OSSL and Eutelsat for satellite life extension.
• Assisted SSC in reviewing a distribution agreement with Spot Image SA for the distribution of remote sensing data.
• Advised OverHorizon on the structuring of the entity established for the purpose of carrying out the satellite project, on general corporate issues from time to time occurring including the financing of the project, teaming agreements, shareholders’ agreements, share purchase agreements, insurance policies and customer service agreements and regulatory matters including legal issues related to securing the right to the use of frequencies as required.
• Advised a shareholder on Operating Contracts prepared for the operation of
• O3B Networks Limited.
• Advised NSAB on the creation, in collaboration with GE Americom, of a Pan- European satellite for distribution of television.
• Assisted NSAB in drafting a lease agreement between NSAB and SES
• regarding the ASTRA 1A satellite.
• Assisted a subsidiary of SSC with respect to an agreement for reception, treatment and distribution etc. of SPOT data.
• Assisted SSC in connection with an implementation Agreement entered into with Teracom Svensk Rundradio AB regarding the management and operation of NSAB.
• Assisted client, SSC, in contract negotiations with the European Space Agency for Phase C/D/E of the SMART-I satellite project aimed for the Moon. The client was responsible for design, manufacturing and delivery of the First Small Mission for Advanced Research and Technology spacecraft procured by ESA.
• Assisted and advised Tachyon Inc. in relation to the roll-out in Sweden and Finland of Tachyon’s VSAT Services for providing connectivity to Internet using satellite capacity. The representation included preparation and filing of necessary permits and licenses with Swedish and Finnish authorities.
• Assisted Teracom Svensk Rundradio AB in establishing distributor arrangements for subscriptions to a Global Positioning System (GPS).
